Corporate Challenge 2.5 Mile Race

Great race for all skill levels
(Race categories: Recreational Kayak and Stand up Paddle Boards) Each category will go off together. This race is for fun and designed for the novice and less experienced paddler, but it is still a race so bring your competitive spirit! The distance is one lap around Colonel’s Island and back to the start/finish line.

Check-In Time: 9AM – 10AM
Tables at town docks, end of McDermott Street, along riverside parking lot. Once the team checks in, they will receive their rash guard with the team number, race info etc.

Unloading – Upon arrival drop off your watercraft at the designated area and then Park your vehicle at Riverhead town docks and parking area. We will be set up in the parking lot with ample space along the riverside.

Pre-race – Estimated race start time will be given at check in, depending on number of teams registered will determine on when the race will start. Announcement will be made for pre-race meeting to review the rules, Safety, race details, etc.

You will load your watercraft at the town docks floating dock and paddle to starting line to begin the race. In the event of severe weather look to the website and Facebook pages for posting or cancellation and alternate date of Sunday, July 30, 2023.
